This acquisition is part of the company’s strategy to improve its business portfolio in “attractive” market areas.

Technotape International operates as a wholesaler, providing both distinctive blank and customised products.

The firm serves a wide range of customers, from large-scale enterprises to smaller local shops.

Post-acquisition, Technotape will be incorporated into OptiGroup’s packaging division in the Netherlands.

The acquired firm will continue to operate under the Technotape name.

This acquisition is anticipated to enhance the company’s service offerings for B2B clients in the manufacturing and DIY industries.

The financial specifics of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Earlier this in June 2025, OptiGroup acquired CreaPak Oy, a Finnish packaging distributor specialising in solutions for the food and construction sectors.

Post acquisition, CreaPak retains its brand identity within OptiGroup’s packaging division in Finland.

In March 2025, OptiGroup, acquired Danish packaging company Ubro SystemPac (USP).

USP was created with the merger of Ubro and Systempac in 2010.

It specialises in packaging products and a wide range of end-of-line packaging machines.

This deal bolsters OptiGroup’s position for packaging, machines, and services in the Nordic packaging market.
